The eagerly anticipated SAP SuccessFactors 1H 2025 Release is here, bringing a host of impactful features and enhancements. Let’s dive into what’s new!
1- Allow Mentors to Manage Development Goals for Mentees:
Mentors with proper permissions can now view, edit, create, and delete the development goals of their mentees on both Development Goals and Mentoring pages.
In Development Goals, mentors view a mentee's development goal plan by searching for the mentee in the People Selector panel.
All the actions that mentors can take follow the permission configuration of the new mentor (MT) role in the development goal plan template.
Enablement: Customer Configured
Configuration Requirements:
- You've configured the MT role in the development goal plan template for at least the read or write permission for the name field.
- You've configured the development goals section in a mentoring program in Manage Mentoring Programs as followsThe Allow participants to manage development goals setting is selected.
2- Browse All Job Roles in Latest Career Worksheet:
In the latest version of Career Worksheet, users can now browse all job roles in their organizations to discover target roles.
By choosing the Browse All Job Roles button on the Explore Career Options page.

Configuration Requirements:
- You've enabled the latest Career Worksheet.
2- Exclude Roles with Lower Pay Grades from Recommendations:
You can now configure the Career Worksheet template to exclude job roles with lower pay grades than users' current roles from role recommendations.

Configuration Requirements:
- The MDF foundation object Job Classification is used to set up the job structure of the organization. The foundation object Pay Grade is correctly configured to reflect job hierarchy.
- Job roles are associated with Job Classification through Job Code in Manage Job Profile Content.
- You've configured the <switch for="filter-low-level-roles-by-pay-grade" value="on" /> switch in the Career Worksheet template. Make sure to configure the switch in the default template for the latest Career Worksheet.
4- Team Development Summary in Latest Career Worksheet:
In the latest version of Career Worksheet, managers can now track their team's career development in a summary view, including career aspirations and skill growth.
Managers access the summary view through Growth Portfolio Team View. On the Summary tab, they can view information.

- You've enabled the latest Career Worksheet.
- You've granted the EM role all necessary field permissions in the default Career Worksheet template.
- You've configured the rating-scale-id element in the default Career Worksheet template.

- User>Growth Portfolio>Team View

5- View Employees Who Have Saved Mentoring Programs to Join Later:
On the Saved for Later tab in Manage Mentoring Programs, mentoring administrators and program owners can view employees who have saved mentoring programs to join later.

6- View Open Positions in Latest and Legacy Career Worksheet:
In the latest version of Career Worksheet, users can now view the open positions of recommended roles and target roles on a role's details page. In the legacy version, users only view the number of open positions of target roles.
For Customers with Recruiting: It shows the number of job openings from Recruiting in the legacy worksheet.
In the Latest Worksheet it shows job openings from Recruiting with a link to view details. By choosing the link, users get a list of job openings. They can choose the job title to open the details page. They can also select the Search for More Jobs link to open the Job Search page in Recruiting where they can search for any job openings.
Enablement: Automatically on
If there aren't any job openings for a role, users are offered with the Search for Job Openings link to go to the Job Search page in Recruiting.
Configuration Requirements:
- Open positions are shown by default. Make sure that you haven't configured the default Career Worksheet template to hide the feature.
- For customers using the legacy Career Worksheet, be aware of the prerequisites for using the feature when SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting is enabled.
